You are creating an account for the SWYMO health and performance platform. By creating a SWYMO account, accessing, downloading, or continuing to use SWYMO, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.


If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, you should not use SWYMO as these Terms will apply regardless of your use of SWYMO.

1. Introduction

The SWYMO App (“SWYMO”) is a health, wellness, nutrition, body composition, and performance platform developed by LifeBase Solutions LLC (“LifeBase”) and operated by LifeBase and Biospace, Inc., in conjunction with certain parent and subsidiary organizations (collectively, “InBody”) (“LifeBase” and “InBody” jointly “we”, “ours”, and “us”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains:

  • how we protect it
  • how we share it
  • your rights regarding your information

This Privacy Policy applies to, but is not limited to, the following features and services (each a “Feature”):

  • ScanIQ services
  • coaching platforms

  • related technologies

Please note that certain of the above Features may be provided in conjunction, cooperation, and/or partnership with third-party organizations and providers. Those select Features may include additional terms and conditions, including privacy policies separate from this Privacy Policy, as provided by that third-party organization or provider. Please also note that SWYMO does not work independently from LookinBody Web, a service provided by InBody; by using SWYMO, you also agree to abide by the LookinBody Web Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

As part of providing you the Features, we may collect your:

3. Body Composition & Wellness Data

As part of the Features, SWYMO may collect your body composition and wellness data from:

  • InBody analyzers
  • wearable devices
  • CGMs
  • health applications
  • third-party integrations

This information may include your:

  • skeletal muscle mass
  • body fat percentage
  • ECW/TBW ratio
  • phase angle
  • visceral fat data
  • glucose trends
  • sleep data
  • recovery metrics
  • activity metrics
  • wellness scores
  • nutrition trends

4. How We Use Information

We use information to collected by us from you to:

  • provide the Features and services
  • authenticate accounts
  • generate wellness insights
  • provide AI-powered recommendations
  • personalize user experiences
  • improve platform performance
  • communicate with users
  • operate challenges and rankings
  • provide coaching functionality
  • process subscriptions
  • prevent fraud and abuse
  • conduct analytics and research
  • improve future products and features

5. Information Sharing

As limited to the extent necessary to adequately and proficiently provide you with the Features and other services, we may share your information with:

  • participating businesses
  • gyms
  • clinics
  • coaches
  • employers
  • wellness providers
  • payment processors
  • messaging providers
  • analytics providers
  • infrastructure providers
  • legal authorities when required

We may also share with Feature and service providers de-identified or aggregated data for:

  • benchmarking

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties except providers necessary to deliver messaging services.

As part of the Features, you may authorize SWYMO to send you:

  • SMS messages
  • emails
  • push notifications
  • coaching messages
  • challenge alerts
  • marketing communications
  • system notifications

Message frequency may vary and standard message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

As part of proficiently and efficiently providing you with the Features and customer support services, we may use:

  • cookies
  • analytics tools
  • device identifiers
  • session tracking technologies
  • similar technologies

to:

  • improve platform functionality
  • personalize experiences
  • analyze usage
  • improve security
  • optimize performance

8. Data Retention

We retain information:

  • while accounts remain active
  • as necessary to provide the Services
  • to comply with legal obligations
  • for fraud prevention and security
  • for legitimate business purposes

Certain de-identified or aggregated information may be retained indefinitely.

No system can guarantee absolute security.

Many settings may be managed directly through your SWYMO account.

11. Children’s Privacy

SWYMO mobile app accounts are intended for users ages 13 and older.

Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to independently create or access SWYMO mobile app accounts at this time.

Certain participating businesses, schools, sports organizations, or wellness providers may perform body composition scans for individuals under 13 outside of the direct SWYMO app experience. However, these providers do so with the understanding that they are solely responsible for vetting participants and for acquiring necessary consent from all participants, particularly those under the age of 13.

If we discover unauthorized collection of personal information through SWYMO involving a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.

12. International Users

SWYMO and associated Features and services are only available in the United States. International users may be restricted from utilizing SWYMO, or may experience limited or non-functionalities when using SWYMO.

Regardless, your information will be processed and stored in the United States. Transfers out of the United States are not supported by us.

13. Business Transfers

If either LifeBase or InBody undergoes:

  • a merger
  • acquisition
  • restructuring
  • financing event
  • asset sale

your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will take all necessary steps to ensure that your information is protected and secure.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted within SWYMO.

Your continued use of SWYMO after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
